Hi,
This is going to be a little gross sounding and I'm sorry I'm going into alot of detail here but I don't think this is normal so I want someone elses opinion.I had a miscarriage, healed up physically and have had 5 mths of normal period "fun". In March I noticed my period was lighter than normal it only lasted a few days, 5 at the most. This pattern of short light periods continued right up until July when I didn't get my period at all. I was a little nervous yet excited that I missed one because we've been ttc. Last night I started cramping and woke in covered in blood and in alot of pain. I lost 10 blood clot type things between 7am and 1130am and had a stream of blood coming out. I went to the hospital, the doctor said to go home that it was just a heavy painful menses. He gave me some tylenol for the pain and sent me on my way. I went back to work thinking I was ok as the doctor said.
I kept loosing clots til about 1230pm. Now my bleeding is light again. I'm really worried. I've been back to the hospital and saw another doctor earlier this evening. He said not to worry about anything if the bleeding has slowed down. I told him that I was worried because I was ttc and I felt weak from the blood loss. He just said to go home, didn't really check anythign out at all.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?? I'm still cramping and the bleeding is going from heavy to light...But I'm really worried I was pregnant and lost a baby I didn't know about. I tested in July to see if I was preg with a home test but it was negative. I never tested to see if I was pregnant again after that first test.
