4:43 PM 		Is it normal to be bleeding continually after a d & C? Does anyone know. It has been over two weeks since I had it. Also when I went in for my operation I also found out that I have a bicornuate uterus. Do any of you have this too. It may have been the reason for my blighted ovum. Talk about a lot of bad news in a few weeks. I am starting to accept that Maybe I am just not meant to be a mother. Hope your all doing well. I have taken up retail therapy to cope with all this. So that now I am broke too. lol

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had 3 D&C's, all three with bleeding for 3-4 days after the procedure and spotting for up to 2 weeks. With my last D&C, my discharge instructions said "spotting" for up to 2 weeks. If it is a significant amount of blood, I would call the doctor's office. Hopefully, they scheduled you for a follow up visit for about 2 weeks after the procedure anyway. Bleeding and cramping can be a sign of missed tissue in the uterus and may require more intervention. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
